About Dr. Yiwei Gao
Dr. Yiwei Gao is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, but now considers Austin home. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore. Dr. Gao loves to make a positive impact in the lives of her patients. Her mission is to provide the highest quality of care in a comfortable and gentle setting. She takes the time to understand each patient's unique needs and offers individualized care with a compassionate approach.
Outside the office, Dr. Gao recently welcomed her first baby and has two wonderful rescue furbabies-one from Maryland and the other from Honduras! In her free time, she enjoys gardening, hiking, and cooking for family and friends.

I haven't been to the dentist in YEARS and Dr. Gao made the process seamless. I went in for a dental cleaning and of course found out that I had a bunch of cavities (which wasn't shocking to me haha) but she and her team made me feel comfortable and were super professional and friendly from start to end. I never thought I'd say I'm looking forward to going back to the dentist!

Dr. Gao was extremely impressed with my teeth haha, she really boosted my teeth’s ego. She definitely knew what she was doing as she was efficient and knowledgeable about how to speed through my annual checkup / cleaning while also being very thorough and precise. Did I mention she awesome! The dental hygienist working by her side was amazing and personable too. Me and Dr Gao shared some commonalities being Asian women and had a good laugh and conversation about that.

Was to the point and recommended only what was necessary for my teeth .I was very happy to meet a dentist that did want to up sale and just take care of my teeth. Also it was an affordable mission. Highly recommended these people from front office to treatment room..

The entire team made me feel comfortable, and I never felt like they were trying to oversell me on unnecessary treatments — something I’ve unfortunately experienced at other offices in the past. It was such a relief to feel like I could trust their recommendations. The front office staff is so kind and personable, and I absolutely loved my dental hygienist. Highly recommend!

Very courteous and professional. Everyone was friendly and willing to answer my questions. I never felt rushed. They focused on my dental issues and did not try to push or sell me any other products . I will highly recommend this place.
