About Dr. Yiwei Gao
Dr. Yiwei Gao is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, but is proud to now consider Austin home. She went on to obtain her dental degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore.
Dr. Gao is excited to join a team where she can make a difference in the lives and smiles of many patients. She looks forward to changing the perception of dentistry for her patients so they can achieve a smile that makes them feel confident – without fear. Dr. Gao is compassionate and intentional in offering specialized care unique for every patient.
During her time away from the office, Dr. Gao has two wonderful rescue dogs (one from Maryland and the other from Honduras!) who love exploring the outdoors with her. She also enjoys rock climbing and trying new restaurants around the city!
