About Dr. Yousaf (Joey) Zaghi
Dr. Zaghi earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University, graduating with distinction and honors at the top of his class. He further enhanced his education by completing a rigorous dental residency program at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was mentored by some of the most experienced and knowledgeable general cosmetic dentists.
Dr. Zaghi and the rest of the team look forward to meeting you and your family and promise to make your dental experience unlike any other. He is known for making dental phobia ?go away? and will explain every procedure he plans to perform. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST OFFICE! I had an appointment on a Tuesday in December. I went there for a cleaning but also told them about a tooth pain I was having. They did the x-rays and cleaning. They dismissed my tooth pain and said it’ll feel better in a few days however they took time for a 10 minute presentation on trying to sell me invisalign. That Sunday I woke up with the left side of my face completely swollen and intense pain. They somehow missed the tooth infection. I had an emergency root canal done. I then scheduled an appointment for the crown to be placed on the tooth. The appointment was scheduled for 10:30am. I received numerous text messages reminding me to show up 15 minutes early. At 10am I was on my way to the office and received a call saying my appointment was pushed back to 11am. I then got to the office at around 10:50. I sat in the waiting room for almost an additional hour before I decided to leave. Please save your time and money and go somewhere else.

This office was very good. Didn’t wait a long time to be seen. Accepted my insurance. Had no copay. Thorough exam including X-rays and a scan, filling three cavities and a chip that was in one tooth, and also a cleaning. They even are having a night guard made for me to prevent grinding which was also covered by my insurance. Very friendly staff. Didn’t get their names unfortunately but they were very thorough and did a really good job. Will definitely be returning.

I had a excellent experience. I’ve had multiple root canals in the past and not the best experiences with the pain/discomfort.. and I can honestly say Dr. Zaghi did a phenomenal job I felt 0 pain thru the root canal he did on me! I 100% recommend him!?

I was seen as soon as I walked in, but I think I had the first appointment, which was fine. Ivette (I think) was very informative and did her best to be clear and communicate with me what steps they were going to take. She educated me about the gums and plaque build up and was very thorough with my cleaning.
