MEET OUR DOCTOR
DR. ZACK MEKOUAR
Dr. Zack Mekouar received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the New York University school of Dentistry.
After practicing general and family dentistry for several years, he completed his post-graduate training in orthodontics. He has been practicing Dentistry for over 15 years.
While at NYU, Dr. Mekouar was a member of the student research club, where he was actively involved in research and development in the dental field.
Dr. Mekouar is a member of the American dental association, the American Association of functional orthodontics, and the international association for Orthodontics (IAO), a key association for global leaders in orofacial health.
Dr. Mekouar’s treatment philosophy is based on a comprehensive diagnosis of the whole maxillofacial complex. It is the key to creating beautiful smiles with great facial harmony, resulting in outstanding aesthetic outcomes.
When he is not practicing Dentistry, he volunteers at his local community, and enjoys reading, playing soccer, watching movies, and spending time with his wife and three children.

I had been seeing my previous dentist for many years and had become concerned when they wanted an exorbitant amount to fix my teeth. I stumbled across Zocdoc, put in my insurance information, and started to look around.
I found Dr. Mekouar almost immediately and booked an appointment to look at a tooth of mine. I ended up getting a comprehensive exam and found out that a lot of the procedures my primary dentist wanted to do were unnecessary. As a result, I’m scheduled to have my mouth fixed in the next few months instead of the next few decades.
I would absolutely recommend this office for their friendliness, compassion, and understanding in the challenges presented in my mouth and my overall wellness as well.
