About Dr. Zahra Omar
At Zara Dental, our focus is on comprehensive dental care. From gum health and dental implants to cosmetic dentistry and Invisalign, we are all about complete dental care. We do accept insurance and help patients maximize their plans, but we are not in contract with any insurance providers. To provide the best care, we have chosen to be unrestricted dental providers. However, we advocate for our patients and ensure they are able to fully utilize their plans.

Zahra Omar graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore, Maryland, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). After dental school, Dr. Omar completed a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, where she received further training in complex restorative dentistry, oral surgery, and endodontics. Dr. Omar spends a significant amount of time learning about new technologies and techniques in dentistry through continuing education.

Dr. Zara and her staff were lovely. She was very attentive and my teeth were cleaned very thoroughly. One of the best teeth cleanings I've had in a while. I could tell that she really loves and takes pride in dentristy.

The office space was beautiful and modern. Both the receptionist Nancy, as well as Dr. Omar were extremely pleasant. Dr. Omar was friendly and efficient and gave clear explanations for everything that she was doing. She made my first trip back to the dentist in several years much less of a headache than I had anticipated.

Dr Omar and everyone else who worked at her office were amazing!! They were so nice, answered all my questions, the exam was very thorough and the place was very clean and organized. They took all the cleanliness and other precautions during covid times. I very much recommend her!

Dr. Omar and her assistant Tina are great! They are both super friendly and made for a very pleasant experience at the dentist. The office is nice and modern. There is a monitor in front of the dental chair and on the ceiling where you can see x-rays and pictures they take of your teeth as Dr. Omar is walking you through what she’s seeing. Highly recommend!

Dr. Omar and her staff were kind and welcoming. They have a brand new space with state of the art equipment and take the care and time to explain what they see in the x-rays and what they are doing every step of the way. I felt well looked after and my teeth are now squeaky clean!

Dr. Omar was fantastic and is the first dentist I would ever recommend to friends. She and Maddie were so nice and welcoming and made me feel comfortable (even though I was at the dentist). Dr. Omar talked to me about my x-rays, suggested some products (but didn't try to sell them to me), and, after my cleaning, talked to me about options. She's also the first dentist to ever offer a topical analgesic for my very sensitive front teeth, which made for the most pleasant cleaning I've ever had.

Dr. Omar is phenomenal. She is gentle, warm, and most importantly, extremely knowledgeable and HONEST about which treatment will work for you. I have concerns about my smile, and she took great care to explain my options while also being realistic about the kind of commitment I'd have to make if I want perfect teeth.
Her office is like a spa. I wouldn't have minded hanging out there longer, but I was seen right away.
