About Dr. Zev Segal
Dr. Segal graduated from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem Hadassa Dental School in 1980. He subsequently opened a private dental practice in Jerusalem, while also studying at the Bezal'el Art Academy. This additional art academy education provides Dr. Segal with a unique eye for both the art and the science of aesthetic dentistry.
In 1994, upon graduation with honors from NYU Dental School, Dr. Segal opened his New Jersey dental practice. In addition to his practice, Dr. Segal continues to take numerous postgraduate education courses and seminars to stay abreast with the latest developments in dentistry and offer his patients the most advanced, highest quality care possible. Dr. Segal is an active member in numerous professional organizations, including: AACD, ADA, AGD, LVI, ICOI.
Dr. Segal is happily married and has three children. Away from the office, Dr. Segal enjoys painting and photography, classical, jazz and ethnic music as well as traveling and sports. Some of Dr. Segal’s original paintings and photographs are displayed along the walls of our office.

The female doctor asked very weird questions about my chipped tooth and my grinding. She kept asking if I have any trauma and any nightmares. I told her that I don't have any truama, She kept asking if I could not remember any of my bad dreams. She asked if I wake up tense and not sure why. I honestly feel very uncomfortable with her. I did not get to see the main Dr. and this is the second time there and both times I had the weird female doctor. I do not recommend patients to come here.

Great staff... not so great doctor!

To begin, they were able to see me right away, which is usually rare in a dentist office! Then, I accidentally booked for a consultation when I really wanted a cleaning, but the hygienist was so kind she offered to do a cleaning since she had some free time in between patients. Then, I had issues with my insurance where for some reason I was no longer covered under my mother's insurance (which I knew was a mistake) but instead of turning me away and ending my appointment they continued to take care of me and said "we will figure everything else out later because we never turn a patient away." Turns out the insurance error was a mistake and that I could be billed a few days later, but they told me not to worry about it. Highly recommend- they were the dream team to say the least! And my teeth never felt cleaner! :)

Really great doctor with a beautiful office. Friendly diverse staff, unlike other offices, I don't feel judged and they are very kind. Most importantly, an amazing Doctor that listens and addresses your concerns. He is truly skilled, in and out in no time. No long wait time. Office staff is nice and serves coffee and snacks (they ask you if you want anything, snacks are not laid out, but if you ask, they have plenty of healthy snacks).
Dr. Segal has such amazing soft hands, you don't even feel the shots. I came here after checking out all the reviews from yelp, google, and zocdoc. I am glad I did.
