He practiced as a general dentist for five years before he decided to specialize in orthodontics. Dr. Kennet attended the University of Manitoba, where he earned both his Certificate in Orthodontics and his Master of Science degree, graduating in 1998. Dr. Kennet participates in many continuing education courses and constantly incorporates new treatment techniques and technologies into his practice to achieve high-quality results with an easier, more comfortable experience for his patients. Experience Dr. Kennet was one of the first dentists in North America to use digital X-rays and his research demonstrated the dramatic reduction in radiation to his patients. His groundbreaking research in the use of lasers to prevent tooth decay was published in leading dental journals and was presented to the American Dental Association. He was one of the first orthodontists to introduce digital orthodontics in Michigan and is one of the most experienced Invisalign providers. Outside the Office Dr. Kennet and his wife, Orly, have a daughter, Romy, who keeps them up-to-date on all the important TV, music, and pop culture events. When he has free time, Dr. Kennet enjoys traveling, going to Tiger games, and food—both cooking it and eating it!
