About Dr. Natalija Kokoreva

Dr. Natalija Kokoreva knew she was going to be a dentist since elementary school. Growing up in Eastern Europe, she discovered her passion for oral health while watching her mother run a dental practice in a local orphanage. From an early age, she was fascinated by the science of the human body, spending her free time exploring anatomy museums and studying books about the body and diseases. She was also deeply involved in the arts, playing piano at a conservatory preparation music school. When Dr. Kokoreva was a teenager, her family moved to Memphis, Tennessee. With her background, dentistry was a natural fit—it combined her two biggest passions: science and art. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry.
Dr. Kokoreva wanted to move away from Memphis to somewhere amazing, and in 2017 she discovered the wonderful Pacific Northwest. Her love for nature and the abundance of outdoor recreational activities in Oregon made her feel right at home. In the summer, she enjoys gardening, visiting lakes, kayaking, and picnics in state parks with her husband and two kids. On rainy days, she enjoys hiking in the rain, painting with acrylics, playing piano, and cooking delicious food for family and friends.
As a dentist, Dr. Kokoreva offers a comforting blend of artistry, expertise, and compassion. She takes pride in providing comprehensive dental care for the whole family, relieving patients’ pain during emergencies, and creating beautiful smiles. Focused on excellence and quality service in a relaxed atmosphere, she always keeps her patients’ best interests at heart. Trained to provide full-scope general dentistry, Dr. Kokoreva also offers select specialty procedures and minimal sedation to her patients.

This was an overall off-putting experience and I will likely not be going back. All the staff was kind until something went wrong, then the vibe changed immediately. My mouth was sore for multiple days after this cleaning and it was one of those appointments where I felt like a dollar sign sitting in the chair vs a human being.

The front staff, particularly Mariah, were on point & worked very hard to make things work in an uncertain insurance situation. She was very upfront about everything & went above & beyond to make things work. Olivia was super friendly & gentle when she worked on my teeth, & explained everything very well, such that when I saw the Natalija Kokoreva, I didn't have many questions left. & of course she was wonderful & calming as well. Will be going back for all of my work!

I was wary at first when the new dentist arrived, but she is great. The staff is friendly, hygienist is thorough but quite gentle, and the new doctor has settled in nicely. They have created a very nice, positive atmosphere and I recommend this practice highly.

This is the best dentist in the world. She got me in right away pulled all my teeth at once. Had no pain or swelling. My teeth were in bad shape some broken to the gum line.i am on oxygen to. They were do kind and caring. I can not sing their praises high enough. Thank for the wonderful care.

I have been going here with my kids for years! The staff is over accommodating to my littlest who is not ready for a full exam, by allowing her to help assist the dentist with my exam! She came home and told her family that she was going to work there some day:)

The dentist. Let's be honest. Not my favorite place. Compassion Family Dentistry is just that. Everyone I've had the pleasure of interacting with has been kind and their questions and actions come from a place of empathy. They are very considerate about how they complete the procedures. Don't let the small town vibe fool you. This office had all the up-to-date tech to make your visit quick and comfortable. You can tell the dentist takes pride in her work. Care plans involve the client, their wishes, and their is no shame or pressure. I highly recommend this cute, friendly dental office.

I’ve never had a bad experience here. Every time I walk in in door I am welcomed and warmly greeted by not just the receptionist, but everyone I come into contact with. They are extremely professional and competent and I would highly recommend that if anyone is looking for a dentist, go here.

Ok. So I’m terrified of the dentist. Like, really terrified. I went years without going just to avoid the pain and fear. I had a horrific experience at another dentist years ago that set the tone for my fear. Fast forward to November 2021. I knew I had to get to dentist but I was so embarrassed about the state of my mouth. I googled compassionate dentists and Compassion Family Dentistry came up. I took the leap and called.
Let me tell you. I am SO glad I made that call. Between the dental assistants, the hygienist and the dentist, the level of care was amazing. They deal with my dramatics ?? No one made me feel bad about how long it’s been or about the state my teeth were in. All of the treatments I’ve received have been painless, which is the best part for me. Everyone there is so personable, you’ll feel like you’ve known them forever.
I just finished an appointment this afternoon. It was so much easier than I thought it would be. I left feeling so good that I figured I should let everyone know
