About Dr. Shopana Ganpath
Dr. Shopana Ganpath is board-certified in Internal Medicine and has practiced primary care for over 10 years.
Although well-experienced in managing chronic illnesses, her wellness philosophy favors preventative care rather than just treating symptoms, and she actively follows the latest research in evidence-based treatment to safely and optimally address the healthcare needs of her patients.
She provides primary care as well as Pap tests, hormone replacement therapy, medical aesthetics, and minor cosmetic surgery procedures such as suture removal and incision and drainage. She is certified in administering Botox and fillers, microneedling, laser hair removal, skin and hair rejuvenation treatments, and EZGel treatments.
She received her MD from DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital, Detroit, after earning an MBBS degree from Vinayaka Mission’s Medical College and Hospital, India. A multilingual people person who believes good relationships between doctor and patient have a positive influence on health outcomes, she is a proponent of unhurried, compassionate consultations.
She has been married for 20 years and is a mother of three. She enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with her family, as well as interior design, dance, and music.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Ganpath. She was very sweet and to the point. I used several cough syrups from a month but didn’t cure and the medication she suggested, helped me right away. Thank you Doctor.

My experience was extremely positive, and I’m someone who gets nervous at the doctor’s office. Everyone was prompt, professional and did their jobs well. As a new patient, the front desk handled my intake quickly. Dr. Ganpath was lovely, attentive, and very action-oriented. After hearing my immediate complaints and ongoing conditions, she had both an immediate and long-term plan of action. The nurses and lab techs were all kind, fun and phenomenal at what they do. I have been looking for a new primary care physician in my area and I am very satisfied with Dr. Ganpath and this office.
