About Dr. Marlene Rivera
Dr. Marlene Rivera-Ortiz is a native of Puerto Rico and is fluent in both Spanish and English. A former competitive gymnast, her love of sports and the human body inspired her to pursue a career in chiropractic. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic.
Dr. Rivera has practiced in Brooklyn for the past three years, gaining extensive experience treating expecting mothers, athletes, and families alike. She is currently completing her Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) training, a postgraduate diplomate, to better serve her clients at a higher level.

I was most pleased to bring my daughter, a pre-professional ballet dancer, to Dr. Marlene Rivera. Her stiffness was relieved instantly and Dr. Marlene was gentle, kind and professional. Dr. Rivera was absolutely wonderful. I got into a car accident a number of years ago and have not been able to find relief since. During our first visit she was able to provide me with MUCH NEEDED information. She also taught me how to better take care of my body and showed me how to make improvements that will help immediately in order to practice self care. Lastly, she is sending me for x-rays of my spine (I had never thought of this before). Although she’s confident that my spine is not curved, it is immensely comforting to know that this is part of my treatment plan. I can’t wait to go back next week!!

Dr Marlene is great, she has excellent bedside manner and she’s a super professional. After asking me some questions about my pain, she set me up with a TENS machine and some warm blankets to loosen my muscles. Then she did some adjustments on my back and I immediately felt relief. I’ll need to come back for further treatment but I feel confident that Dr Marlene can help me get back to normal again.

Omg I love my entire experience. I had severe neck back and joint pain that I suffered from a untreated car accident . With a few visits I seen results she was very detailed and addressed every concern. I have ways to go but I recommend her to anyone.
