Have gotten nothing short of the best treatment from Dr Hui and his team!! He is willing to work with me and with my schedule to help me alleviate chronic neck and shoulder pain. Highly recommended
I had a very good experience. I was looking for a chiropractor in the city which I visit occasionally and I got exactly what I was looking for.
Bobby was amazing! He is funny, friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend if you need to see a chiropractor!!
I've been seeing Dr. Larry for 8 years for on-again off-again sports-related injuries and "general maintenance". The practice is more than just a chiropractic one. This is a true, comprehensive practice that doesn't just "fix" a problem but really treats it for long-term rehabilitation. I've seen Dr. Larry and his team primarily for back and neck problems but have also been for ankle, knee, hip and shoulder issues as well as general deep tissue work and active release. If you are an athlete and need regular maintenance or have a nagging pain, this is a great practice that will take care of you for years.
Dr. Wiley's office was very welcoming and the staff answered all of my questions. Highly recommend.
This was my first time at a chiropractor and Dr. Black has made the experience so easy! He's so kind and gentle and really listens to what you need. Highly recommended!
I went in to see Dr. Givens because I’ve been having a persistent headache for almost a week with no relief from medications. After reviewing my symptoms he suggested I see a neurologist. I was upset, I thought my appointment was over and I would still no have answers. I was wrong! Dr. Givens then examined my hips, spine, head, neck and shoulders. We did x-rays and then I have electrical stimulation of my back and neck followed up by a roller on my back for about 10 minutes. Before I left I booked and appointment for next week to discuss and treatment plan then asked how much I owed. Much to my surprise they told me everything they had done today was complementary! I was so shocked. I can’t wait to see if treatments with Dr. Givens help the issues I’m having with my headaches.
I never write reviews unless they’re really bad or really good. In this case, Dr. Kam was really good! He made me feel comfortable from the moment he greeted me and he talked me through the entire appointment to ensure that I was aware and okay with everything. I also felt much better physically when the appointment was over. He was overall very positive and I would definitely recommend him.
I’ve been to several chiropractors in my life and Dr. Tai Ly was easily the best! He addressed exactly what was bothering me and I walked out feeling like a different person. He’s my go-to guy now!
This was my first trip to a Chiropractor so I wasn't sure what to expect. In just a few visits, Matthew was able to help me out with a shoulder/upper back issue that was bothering me for several months and the pain is completely gone now. I highly recommend him!
Dr. Hoffman, Cindy and Elvira are an incredibly personable and welcoming staff. Immediately when I walked in I was greated with a warm smile from Cindy, one of Dr. Hoffman's assistants and later the pleasant banter between herself and Dr. Hoffman's other assistant Elvira. Dr. Hoffman himself is a very patient man who does not give off that bothered, rushed vibe that is only too common in the medical field. I highly recommend this practice.
Dr Gruen has helped me twice, and is highly effective in his profession. Would highly recommend him to anyone seeking chiropractic care.
I really appreciate Dr. Giraldo holistic approach to care and healing. I have not been able to find care like this outside of San Francisco, CA in the 13 years I have been living in NYC. I will definitely make it a point to seek out treatment here on a regular basis. Thank you Dr. Giraldo!
New York City Chiropractors
A chiropractor is a healthcare provider that focuses on the body's ability to heal itself by utilizing manual therapy (e.g., spinal manipulation), exercise and nutritional counseling. They treat patients of all ages suffering from various health concerns. They have expertise in dealing with back pain, neck pain and headaches. They are also skilled at handling musculoskeletal injuries affecting the muscles, ligaments and joints. According to the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), chiropractic treatments have been called some of the safest drug-free, noninvasive methods used to heal neuromusculoskeletal disorders.
To qualify as a chiropractor, an individual has to obtain a doctor of chiropractic/chiropractic medicine degree. As part of their curriculum, they study orthopedics, neurology, human anatomy, physiology and clinical diagnosis. Currently, there are more than 70,000 licensed chiropractors practicing in the United States. According to the ACA, three out of four people described their chiropractic treatment as “very effective.”

Spinal decompression therapy
Spinal decompression therapy is a nonsurgical method designed to relieve symptoms caused by pressure on the spinal cord. Compression of the spinal nerves can result in pain, tingling, weakness, numbness and even paralysis if it’s severe. To ameliorate these symptoms, spinal decompression therapy may be advised, which involves gently stretching the spine. This results in changing the position of the spine, as well as the force applied to it. This reduces the pressure on the spinal disks, which are gel-like cushions between the bones in your spine. This helps in the movement of water, oxygen and nutrient-rich fluids into the disks, so that they heal. You can learn about the surgical way of treating spinal pressure on Cleveland Clinic’s official website.
