It is hard to find the right chiropractor. For me, Dr Bui seemed to get what I needed. This was my first appointment but I booked another as I want to see what progress can be made. Nice guy. Nice office staff.
I travel to NYC for work every two months and I received top-notch care from Dr O and her team, Emaya and Dr. Chase. I got x-rays, chiro massage (so good), electro- and acupuncture treatment, and finally an adjustment. Dr O was super pleasant, knowledgeable, and caring. I live in California and she sent me home with a CD of my x-ray images for my California chiropractor.
Today was my first visit to Dr Michael Vargas and he was just fantastic! I felt much better right away. He was very friendly and I would highly recommend!
Amazing! I have chronic back problems and every time I go see him I experience the longest time I can go pain free. Highly recommend
Dr.Alex Kazhdan is very professional. He would make multiple examples to make sure I understand the problem. The exercise he guided me to me is effective.
Dr. Jamie was so friendly and helpful as were other office staff. She explained everything clearly and it feels like such a relief to have a treatment plan.
Dr. Esposito helped me with my back pain, he was very good at explaining the problems I had. The staff was very helpful at scheduling my appointment. Highly reccomend.
Squeezed me in at the last minute for a shoulder issue and could not have been nicer. He was so thorough and so knowledgeable. I also learned how to breathe (as someone else mentioned) and probably know more about human anatomy now than I did after studying it in AP Bio. I really want to stress how excellent he is.
Excellent atencion. Is a place where you can feel comfortable as a patient. Doctor Farren is very kind and profesional person, he cares about his patients
New York City Chiropractors
A chiropractor is a healthcare provider that focuses on the body's ability to heal itself by utilizing manual therapy (e.g., spinal manipulation), exercise and nutritional counseling. They treat patients of all ages suffering from various health concerns. They have expertise in dealing with back pain, neck pain and headaches. They are also skilled at handling musculoskeletal injuries affecting the muscles, ligaments and joints. According to the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), chiropractic treatments have been called some of the safest drug-free, noninvasive methods used to heal neuromusculoskeletal disorders.
To qualify as a chiropractor, an individual has to obtain a doctor of chiropractic/chiropractic medicine degree. As part of their curriculum, they study orthopedics, neurology, human anatomy, physiology and clinical diagnosis. Currently, there are more than 70,000 licensed chiropractors practicing in the United States. According to the ACA, three out of four people described their chiropractic treatment as “very effective.”

Spinal decompression therapy
Spinal decompression therapy is a nonsurgical method designed to relieve symptoms caused by pressure on the spinal cord. Compression of the spinal nerves can result in pain, tingling, weakness, numbness and even paralysis if it’s severe. To ameliorate these symptoms, spinal decompression therapy may be advised, which involves gently stretching the spine. This results in changing the position of the spine, as well as the force applied to it. This reduces the pressure on the spinal disks, which are gel-like cushions between the bones in your spine. This helps in the movement of water, oxygen and nutrient-rich fluids into the disks, so that they heal. You can learn about the surgical way of treating spinal pressure on Cleveland Clinic’s official website.
