“I went to Dr. Calvano’s office for a consultation today. The doctor is both professional and friendly. He called me a couple of days after I booked the appointment to let me know any out of pocket expenses for this consultation and for appointments with him moving forward. He had me fill out forms on his website that are more detailed than the form on ZocDoc.
When I got there he was very warm and asked me a lot of questions and then did a physical evaluation (checking mobility, pain sensitivity, nerve reaction etc.).
When he finished the evaluation, he told me what he could do for me (I love his different techniques) and we scheduled first three appointments that he called a trial run to see how I felt.
I LOVE that he doesn’t take on patients he doesn’t think he can help !! How great.

Was told by the doctor that he accepted my insurance, but later find out he charges double the copay because my insurance doesn’t cover some of the “extra things” he does. I’ve been to the chiropractor many times before and he didn’t do anything different or revolutionary to justify that. I found his bait and switch insurance issue a bit dishonest. He also talks a lot about himself and seems a bit arrogant. I would not recommend if you are a larger patient since he seemed a little judgy. Not everyone who is overweight is working towards losing weight. Maybe they should, but it’s not really his place to assume and then ask “what are you doing about your weight?” It just felt a little insensitive. On the positive side, the office was easy to find and clean, he has late hours and saw me quickly. He is very clear about treatment and his policies (charging for missing appointments, etc), but at the end of the day I would not see him again.

Highly recommend! He’s a great listener and gives direct/actionable ideas to work on. Neck/back is already starting to feel a lot better after 2 sessions.

First time patient with Dr. Calvano, so far so good, I went for an adjustment. He did a thorough review, and then tested and examined my body. He described treatments personal to me. Then gave me adjustments. I am not going to lie but, as soon as I got home I fell asleep with in an hour. I still woke up like I normally do but, I was less stiff and slept better. I also feel better and less stressed. I am following up with him to continue receiving treatment and therapy to cure my shoulder bursitis.

Dr Calvano was very thorough with his initial examination . He took me through the examination and explained it step by step . Then he searched for the exact spot of pain . After finding the pain he attacked it with pressure points , stretching and adjustments. I was sore after first treatment but felt much better. Thank you Dr .

Dr. Calvano is the most professional, dedicated, educated and kind doctors I've seen - and I've seen many doctors & specialists over the years. He is incredibly thorough and well organized. You can tell that he is very dedicate to health and wellness. I would not trust any other chiropractor but him to make adjustments to my body. I came in for lower back & neck pain. I had trouble sleeping & was in pain almost constantly through out the day. After just a few (yes, a few!) visits, I almost forgot I'd ever dealt with such pain. The improvement to my pain & mood was truly incredible. I believe anyone - old or young - would be in good hands with Dr. Calvano. I feel very blessed to have found such a great chiropractor. I highly recommend.

Dr. Calvano was great! I had neck and shoulder pain from a pinched nerve and he thoroughly instructed me on what he was going to do. After a few weeks, my pain went away. He also left me with a regimen to continue the good progress on my neck and shoulder. I constantly recommend him and he’s told me that if ever I have any issues I can reach out to him.

Like all of my visits, today was calming, relieving, and progressive. I've felt my back and neck progress in such a short amount of time. I've participated in chiropractic care for years, and by far Dr. Calvano is my favorite !

Dr. Calvano helped me recover from a bad lower back injury back to normal in 6 weeks. He is very systematic with his care, and tracked my improvements in range of motion carefully throughout the process. And lastly, he's very friendly and available. Truly a good doctor - would highly recommend!
