About Dr. Soha Dolatabadi
I derive immense joy from my profession, and it's my passion for unraveling my patients' health mysteries and puzzles that get me out of bed each morning. My purpose at work is to provide a quality of life to those under my care, helping them overcome pain and suffering. I adopt a holistic approach to patient care, viewing individuals as complete beings shaped by their experiences and circumstances. My primary belief centers on prevention, and I diligently guide my patients toward lifestyle improvements as the cornerstone of adequate care. Prioritizing quality of life, I work collaboratively with each individual to foster positive changes that contribute to their overall well-being. This sense of purpose is shared by my dedicated staff, who all approach our mission with the same perspective and unwavering commitment to our patients' well-being. I earned my Doctor of Medicine degree from Islamic Azad University Tehran Faculty of Medicine. I completed my internship in Internal Medicine at Rochester General Hospital, followed by residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, Kern Medical Center. I further specialized with a Fellowship in Rheumatology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Very confused by these reviews, because within two visits realized this would not be the doctor for me. She felt very hostile to any question or concern I had. Essentially called my previous doctors unqualified to have a degree. I did not put up arguments, but merely tried to convey my concerns about the treatments she was suggesting. She seemed deeply offended and I felt very uneasy bringing up any concerns I have. I felt a similar tone from her assistants as well (excluding front desk). It would be one thing if I myself were being rude or impatient, but I was not. This felt like typical day-to-day activity. "Empathetic" is the last word I would use. Will not return.

Bad medicine and misleading billing! I saw Dr. Dolatabadi for both an annual physical and to treat a specific illness. She was less competent than other general practitioners I have seen. She also suggested a optional service that she indicated was covered by insurance. When I asked if the service was medically necessary, she indicated it would be beneficial. The service ultimately wasn't covered by my insurance and I was charged out-of-pocket months later. She was dishonest and shouldn't be trusted with your health. Finally, the wait times at her office were pretty bad. I've certainly seen worse, but this was well below average. Look for another physician if at all possible.

Dr. Dolatabadi was so lovely! She was attentive, did not rush me, warm and compassionate. She ordered tests and made referrals and just in general took such good care of me. Her staff are just as great including Cecilia at the desk who has been so helpful. I'm so happy I found a great doctor in LA.

She was great. Very nice and she asked a lot of questions. She made me feel comfortable and like I could easily ask her questions as well. Her office is very clean and has a lot of technology (touch screens and Sonos speakers). The woman at the desk was very nice and Albert was great as well. Would definitely come back again for another check-up

Dr. Soha is the best doctor I have ever been to! She is very professional, super caring, listens to you very carefully and directs you in the most right way. If you are her patient regularly, she always checks your health history prior to your visit and asks questions and follows up.
The people who work in the office are always very friendly and love working with her so it brings a positive environment into the entire office.
I love going to her about my health issues and highly recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Soha Dolatabadi is an excellent doctor, very kind and informative. I did not feel rushed, but felt that she answered my questions about my medical condition. She also caught something, that my blood pressure was dangerously high, and gave me something to take for a couple months and then we'll recheck. It's a drive for me, and parking is expensive, but she is worth it.
Celia at the front desk was really helpful and very nice. Albert, her assistant/technician, was also very helpful and very nice too. A pleasant visit to the doctor's office!

The entire staff was just wonderful! The Doctor was also just amazing. I felt that she really cared about her patient. The only thing was the wait time to be seen. I waited a little over an hour. Though the lobby was beautifully decorated with things such as the adult coloring books and nice colored pencils out, waiting that long seemed kinda silly. Regardless I will be going back to her. I would recommend her to anyone that is looking.

The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming even though she was swamped with answering phones and managing check-ins. The doctor was called away unexpectedly to attend to a patient in the adjacent hospital, hence the long wait, but seeing as how it was an emergency I understood. Even though she was behind on appointments Dr. Dolatabadi was compassionate, personable and took the time to address my concerns, I never felt rushed. I'll definitely be going back for my primary care.
