About Dr. Aakruti Bhalja
Dr. Aakruti Bhalja is a Board-Certified Podiatrist and highly qualified foot and ankle surgeon. She earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed her residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at East Orange VA Medical Center. She also holds a bachelor's degree from Rutgers University. Having trained with some of the top surgeons in America, she offers advanced and minimally invasive treatments for foot problems such as bunions, hammertoes, flat feet, and trauma.
Dr. Bhalja uses her expertise to provide specialized training in surgical techniques for podiatric residents. She also lectures to various medical professionals-including doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors, and residents-on topics such as conservative and surgical treatments and techniques for the foot and ankle. She has worked in New Jersey and New York City and is extremely well-respected and highly rated in her specialty.
She is certified in internal fixation techniques and foot and ankle arthroscopy, as well as the innovative new technique for 3-D bunion correction. Dr. Bhalja is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She is highly approachable and will always greet you with a smile!
