About Dr. Aaron Guzik
Dr. Guzik now also offers non-invasive shockwave therapy. This is a new and exciting treatment for chronic, longstanding injuries and tissue calcifications. This is a great alternative to steroid, PRP, or stem cell injections!
While Dr. Guzik is originally from Pennsylvania, he considers himself a Coloradan, having received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2005. He went on to work in clinical research at the Division of Sleep Medicine at The Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School, followed by cystic fibrosis research at Oregon Health and Sciences University/Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon in 2014.
Dr. Guzik owned and operated the successful Skull & Bones Chiropractic in Portland, Oregon and was the official chiropractor for the Portland Pickles baseball team for three seasons. Having roots and family in the Boulder area, Dr. Guzik jumped at the chance to join the team at Longmont Joint and spine, raise his own family here, and serve the local community.
Under Dr. Guzik’s care and attention, people who have suffered from back pain for years are experiencing pain relief and increased mobility because of his careful attention to getting to the root cause and tailoring an individualized treatment plan that gets results quickly. Dr. Guzik’s patients rave about his empathetic ear and ability to make his patients feel heard. Dr. Guzik treats patients of all ages dealing primarily with problems of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems such as postural syndromes, disc herniation, sports injuries, and rehabilitation, as well as extremity pains and strains.
A lifelong hockey player, Dr. Guzik currently plays with several local men's teams, and enjoys camping, riding bikes and motorcycles, cooking, spending time with his wife Marissa, and chasing his very active daughter and two dogs.
