His office was a mess, take out containers everywhere. He was texting the whole time. I didnt see him wash his hands once. There were 4 bicycles in his office and only two employees working there.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I had to wait 20 minutes to be seen, and had to keep waiting even once I was inside the patient room. Dr. Pearl seemed really disorganized, was seeing 3 patients at the same time when I wasthere, and spent less time explaining my issue to me and more time putting on a parade of products for me to try and buy.

He seemed pretty chill, in my opinion. Listened to me, believed my issues, checked them out, and all in all, got everything I needed in a succinct way as possible.

I will not return to Dr. Pearl and I would not recommend him to others. He was incredibly late seeing me and when he did, he was only interested in selling me fancy shoes that insurance doesn't cover. He did notseem at all interested in any other aspect of treating my condition, just in selling orthopedic shoes. I was very uncomfortable due to the way he was pushing the shoes on me, but luckily he was out of my size, so I was able to tell him I'd think about it while he waits for more to come in. Only see Dr. Pearl if you're looking for orthopedic shoes.

I very much enjoyed seeing Dr. Pearl. He was very thorough, asked a bunch of questions about my exercise habits and sports history, and spent a lot of time trying to figure out what my injury was. I'd definitely recommend him to others.

He seemed very distracted and was trying to see three patients at once. I did not feel like I had is full attention and walked out of the office feeling more confused about my condition and the next steps I shouldtake. He was very friendly, but I think he was trying to manage more at once than he was able to.

Dr. Pearl was having a personal conversation on his cell phone while treating me. Extremely unprofessional. Also, seemed to want to increase my bill in whatever means possible.

It took me a while to come to terms on whether or not I wanted to leave this review. I thought that maybe the doctor was having a bad day, but after seeing all the same style reviews online, my experienceis far more than a coincidence . I created my appointment online , and called the morning of to confirm that no additional forms were required. They had no knowledge of my appointment , and wanted to reschedule me. I was adamant about not rescheduling as I live in MD, and was already in VA for the appointment. The receptionist had me re-iterate all my information over the phone. Something that was already readily available on the app. Things happen, so I still decided to move forward with my appointment. The atmosphere of the office is very dingy, dark and dirty. My God I couldn't believe that this was a doctors office. I get called back, and told the doctor would see my periodically. A gentleman walks in, asks me to show him the problem, and begins touching my feet with no gloves. NO FORMAL INTRODUCTION, NO HELLO, NO NOTHING!! He has a sweet apprentice with him for the day, whizzing around the office with him all day to see patients. There is alot of in and out of my room, and lack of fluent communication to me as what is going on. He then tells me he wants to take scans of my feet without even confirming with me whether my insurance covers the appointment. His staff finally provides that information to me, and we move forward with taking X-rays on his DIRTY Machine! My appointment is moving towards two hours, and this man hasn't even taken the time out to properly explain to me the issue, and help me to pick options to alleviate the pain from my hammertoe. I told his apprentice I wanted to leave, and then the doctor jolts back in the rooms frantically apologizing, citing he was having a bad day, on the verge of crying blaming teaching his apprentice on the delay. I kept telling him the training wasn't an issue, it was simply his lack of attentiveness, and respect towards a new patient that made me feel uncomfortable to move forward with anything. HE LITERALLY BEGS ME TO STAY, SO MUCH THAT I FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE AND OBLIGATED. There is honestly so many details I want to type, but Im border line annoyed, and over it, that my refund is far more sufficient than a review. Please google other outlets before you utilize this man! They are all ACCURATE to the tee , its actually mind boggling. The doctor is dirty (breath, clothing, mannerism), his practice is unkept (couches, floors, ceilings are so dirty and stained), for goodness sake they utilized a blank piece of printing paper as a sign in sheet! No one had the sense to utilize word or excel to create pre-fill columns that have headers for each employees name and date! Something so simple!!! This man needs to be audited, fined, and sanctioned. I don't know how he makes money!!!!! He loves cross selling products, and his receptionist are so clueless (very nice though). Its a circus in his office!!!!!!!!!!! Please don't go there! YUCK!!

I badly stubbed my toe and went to the ER last night, and they determined it was broken. Dr. Pearl was able to see me first thing this morning and reset my toe correctly for proper healing.
