Philosophy of care My philosophy involves making sure you feel as in control of your own health care and needs as you can be. My aim is to develop both an evidence-based treatment plan and daily behaviors that fit your lifestyle. I help patients maintain quality of life during or after dealing with urologic illness. Your health care begins with you, and I provide the support, education, and treatment you need to be your own advocate. Why I entered medicine My love for helping people is what drew me to health care and becoming a physician assistant (PA). The joy I receive from seeing I have made an uncomfortable or personal health complication more manageable is why I love the field of urology. I earned my Bachelor’s degree and Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Arcadia University, which prepared me to provide compassionate, evidence-based care. Community involvement I have been a nursing volunteer in the Lehigh Valley, donated blood through the American Red Cross, and helped raise funds for the Valley Health Partners Street Medicine Program. Outside of medicine, I have helped toads and frogs cross busy roadways to encourage environmental conservation. I also have helped educate my community on the importance of a healthy ecosystem. Personal interests I have a wide variety of personal interests that include baking, cooking, reading, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors with loved ones. I also have a background in herpetology (the study of amphibians and reptiles) and can often be found turning stones and logs for critters in the woods or by a waterway.
