Getting to know Abby Otufale
Hi there, I'm Abby.
Are you constantly feeling like you're in the eye of a storm, with life's challenges pulling you in all directions? Is balancing your relationships, work, and personal well-being becoming increasingly difficult? Do you find it hard to give yourself the kindness and care you deserve?
I guide people battling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, insomnia, stress, and anger toward achieving a better quality of life. Together, we'll identify the aspects of your life that are causing distress and help set you back on the path toward balance. Our approach will be holistic, focusing on the needs of your mind, body, and spirit. I incorporate mindfulness practices to help you form a stronger connection with yourself.
Whether you're dealing with overwhelming situations, relationship challenges, or repeated cycles of mental health conditions, I am here to support you. Everyone deserves a safe space where they can heal and grow. As part of our journey, we will undertake psychiatric evaluations and explore psychopharmacological options if needed. During our sessions, I will meet you with an understanding and utilize evidence-based techniques to help you overcome the hurdles and habits that have been standing in your way. Let's set forth on this path to transformation together! Abimbola owns Everpath Wellness LLC.
What should a new client know about working with you?
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner offering telepsychiatry services, I ensure that every remote session you engage in is as valuable as in-person visits. Here's what you can generally expect from each telepsychiatry session:
Individualized Attention: Each session will be centered around you - your experiences, your challenges, and your progress. Despite the physical distance, I aim to create a warm, engaging, and supportive virtual environment where you feel seen, heard, and understood.
Comprehensive Care: Whether we are conducting an initial psychiatric evaluation, managing medication, or navigating therapeutic techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, you can expect comprehensive and quality mental health care tailored to your specific needs.
Progress Assessment: Each session will include an evaluation of your current mental state and a review of the progress made since the last session. This allows us to continuously adapt and optimize your treatment plan.
Skills and Strategies: You will learn new skills and strategies to manage symptoms and cope with challenges. This can include stress management techniques, problem-solving strategies, and cognitive behavioral skills, among others.
Medication Management: If medications are part of your treatment plan, we will discuss any side effects you might be experiencing, the effectiveness of the medication, and make necessary adjustments to ensure the best outcome.
Confidentiality and Convenience: Telepsychiatry sessions provide care in the comfort and privacy of your own space, removing transportation barriers and allowing for more flexible scheduling. You can expect the same level of confidentiality and privacy as in-person visits.
Collaboration and Support: You can anticipate an atmosphere of collaboration. Your input is invaluable to the treatment process, and I encourage active engagement and open communication.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
