Dr. Abida Mallick is a friendly and compassionate pediatrician caring for the Newburgh, NY community. Dr. Mallick earned her medical degree from Fatima Jinnah Medical University in Pakistan. She then moved to the United States, where she completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center.
Dr. Mallick is a part of Crystal Run Healthcare. She is trilingual in English, Punjabi, and Urdu. Outside of her practice, she enjoys spending time with her family, children, parents, and her friends, as well as reading and hiking.

The doctor was good. She did what we came for. She just wasn’t like his last pediatrician I think was the reason I wasn’t wowed. But it was a first visit. Hopefully we will grow to know each other better.

My children have seen Dr.Mallick since 2004 when she took over for the retiring Dr. Varnavitsky who was my pediatrician as a child. Dr. Malick goes above and beyond to take care of my children and is very professional. My children love Dr. Malick and always look forward to seeing her at their yearly appts. Dr. Mallick takes the time to engage with the child to make them feel more comfortable prior to and during the exam. Dr. Mallick takes the time to listen and respond to questions of both the parent and child. In a wellness visit that required vaccinations, Dr. Mallick took the time to explain with age appropriate language the importance of vaccines & how to make them hurt less for a child that was experiencing a high anxiety reaction to needing them. I highly recommend Dr. Mallick.

Had to wait 50 minutes to be seen. Was checked in by an employee using the kiosk and found out it did not register my arrival. Once I was seen I found out I did not need the appt. Had spoken with someone from Crystal Run as to the nature of the appt when they received the Zocdoc notice. Very poor customer service.
