About Abigail Miles

Hi, I’m Abigail Miles: Registered Nurse, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and founder of LatchLine. With over a decade of experience supporting families, I’ve seen firsthand the joys and challenges of breastfeeding/chestfeeding; including the unique journey of induced lactation. My mission is simple: to empower you with the knowledge, tools, and confidence you need to reach your feeding goals no matter where you are in your journey. Why I Do This Work: Infant feeding is one of the most personal and impactful experiences a parent can have, and that includes parents who are nurturing babies through induced lactation, adoption, surrogacy, or as a non-gestational parent. But it’s not always easy, and too often, families are left feeling overwhelmed or unsupported; especially when their journey doesn’t look “typical”. My Approach With a background as a nurse and IBCLC, I bring both medical expertise and a deep understanding of the emotional layers of infant feeding. I’ve worked with families navigating everything from latch challenges to the complex, step-by-step process of inducing or rebuilding milk supply. My approach is always tailored to your unique needs, blending evidence-based guidance with practical, real-world solutions. Fees, Insurance, and Cancellations I believe clarity around fees is part of compassionate care. If you are using an approved insurance plan, I will verify your coverage prior to your visit whenever possible. For families paying out of pocket, the initial visit is $225 and follow‑up visits are $150, with package options available for ongoing support. Because I reserve your appointment time just for you, I do have a 24‑hour cancellation policy. If a visit is canceled or missed with less than 24 hours’ notice, a $25 fee is charged. I also know life with a new baby can be unpredictable, so if something unexpected arises, please reach out! I’ll always do my best to work with you.
