As a former collegiate athlete, Abby is a registered dietitian passionate about the intersection of nutrition for sports performance and intuitive eating. She completed her bachelor's degree in dietetics at Olivet Nazarene University, her dietetic internship at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, and her master's degree in applied exercise science through Concordia University Chicago. Abby has experience working with youth, collegiate, and professional athletes as well as adult and adolescent eating disorder patients at multiple levels of care. Abby's goal for all of her sessions is to provide the client with practical, evidence-based nutrition recommendations while holding space for their challenges with food, body, and movement with compassion. She practices from a non-diet, Health at Every Size perspective and wholeheartedly believes that you can improve your performance without focusing on weight. She is trained in FBT for adolescent eating disorder treatment. Outside of her nutrition work, Abby stays busy by reading copious amounts of books, training for half marathons, and spending time with her husband and cat.
