About Dr. Abigail Skov
Dr. Skov is a native of Snellville, Ga. She has her undergraduate degree from Georgia Tech and her doctorate from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, in Chicago. She completed her residency at the Atlanta VA medical center where she was trained in all aspects of Foot and Ankle Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Skov offers more advanced care techniques for the ankle and rearfoot. She also offers surgical procedures for frequent ankle sprains, bunions, ankle fractures and the latest approaches to Diabetic foot care. She also does total joint replacements for patients with arthritis in their big toes.
Dr. Skov is married and lives in Decatur. She and her husband enjoy supporting their alma mater at football games in the fall. She is a member of Trinity Anglican Church, where she volunteers in their program delivering food and support for new mothers. Dr. Skov enjoys traveling, gardening and trying her hand at pyrography.
