About Dr. Abiola Dele-Michael
Dr. Abiola Dele-Michael is a board certified cardiovascular disease expert and provides care for patients with valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease, hypertension, lipid disorders, congestive heart failure, heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias) and peripheral vascular disease. He is a specialist in advanced echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and vascular ultrasound.
Dr. Dele-Michael was born and raised in New York City. He graduated with honors from Cornell University receiving his Bachelor of Science degree. He attended medical school at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY and graduated with distinction and with a Masters in Public Health. Dr. Dele-Michael completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. After completing his residency, Dr. Dele-Michael was a faculty member at the University of Michigan Medical School. He completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College specializing in noninvasive advanced cardiovascular imaging, including 3D echocardiography, cardiac CT, cardiac MRI and nuclear cardiology.
Prior to starting Dele-Michael Cardiovascular Medicine, Dr. Dele-Michael was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and accrued extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of complex cardiovascular conditions specifically valvular and structural heart disease.

Dr. Dele-Michael was one of the best doctors I've seen in recent memory. Not only did he take ample time to explain everything to me, but his patience with my questions was graciously unending. I felt very at ease by the time I left, and I appreciate the care he and his staff took to get me there. Even amidst a pandemic, he took every precaution to ensure my safety (and his staff's safety), while still ensuring he delivered thorough, excellent care. Can't recommend him enough!

Good bedside manner and deff explains everything to you very thoroughly, but a few things irked me about the practice. First went to the midtown location, took an EKG, but wasn't able to do an echo? A sign of them wanting you to go back so you can pay another copay, but fine. So unorganized, came in and out of the room numerous times looking for his stethoscope. Front desk takes my license to book an appt and never returns it. I have to ask for my license back. Made the appt for the echo at the uptown location. Receptionist rude and extremely unprofessional, another turn off. Anyway go in for the echo and the computer that the echo machine is connected to is uploading software and was asked to wait for it to finish! Ummm did we not know there was an appt at that time and upload that another time? waited 15 minutes for it to upload and it still wasn't finished, "Do you mind if we wait a little longer?", he asks. Waited another 10 minutes just being a nice guy, things happen and still not ready and again asks me if i can wait till it finishes. Finally had to say no because i have other things to do. So unorganized its not even funny. Only person that seemed to be on top of things was his assistant. Sorry i forgot her name, but she was the taller woman who was very kind and welcoming. Next I had to schedule a stress test which didn't call me for an appt for over 2 weeks!!! They just left a voicemail and didn't bother calling back. Thanks, but no thanks. Wont go back

Dr. Dele-Michael was great! The office was clean and I had a very short wait time to be seen and that was after I came late. I found him to be pleasant professional. What I loved the most was the amount of information I was given. I went in as part of my preventative health plan. Dr. Dele-Michael shared a lot of information about how different factors can affect my health, what I can look out for and some steps I could take now that would help me. It was a good visit and I look forward to returning in order to receive more detailed input.
