Adam DeNault is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over nine years of experience in the mental health field across the lifespan. He has worked with patients aged 8 to 101 years, treating depression, anxiety, mood disorders, primary psychotic disorders, PTSD, ADHD, personality disorders, eating disorders, substance use disorders, and more. In his time as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse, he has focused on improving the patient experience through partnership and client-driven treatment planning.
Adam is passionate about de-stigmatizing the use of mental health services. He believes that our mental health and physical health are equal partners and therefore deserve equal respect, for when one suffers, both suffer. He strives to provide a safe environment for you to heal and grow. He utilizes a compassion-driven, collaborative, and personal approach to treatment. He strives to get to know you and understand your personal, mental, and physical goals. Most importantly, he wants to empower you to achieve them. He believes you are the leader in this journey, and he is there to provide you with the tools to succeed.
Adam holds his Master's Degree in Nursing from the University of Rochester and Bachelor's degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and University of Rochester. He is prepared to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, functional testing, and basic blood work for clients of all ages.
