It was during his first year of residency training that Dr. Gover discovered his interest in pain management. To follow this passion, he pursued a fellowship in Pain Management at Emory University here in Atlanta. It was here that Dr. Gover learned comprehensive, whole body pain management techniques, involving minimally invasive procedures and multimodal medication therapy. Dr. Gover’s passion is to help people with chronic pain regain their life and resume the activities that bring them happiness. As someone who is very invested in physical fitness, he understands the impact that chronic pain has on our activity level and quality of life. Dr. Gover specializes in using minimally invasive techniques such as radiofrequency ablation, epidural steroid injections, and neuromodulation to improve his patient’s pain while also minimizing the use of opioids. Another goal of his is to help patients with chronic pain avoid invasive surgery when unnecessary. Dr. Gover is committed to providing thoughtful, compassionate care and helping his patients to resume the activities that make them feel whole again. Dr. Gover is a member of the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience (ASPN), American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), Spine Intervention Society (SIS), and the North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS). In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, working out, traveling, and rock climbing.
