“The paid consultation is worth it. He’s super accessible, even answers texts at night. He answered all my questions. I’m paying cash but he offers financing. He can get you in soon unlike the 6 month miami clinics that are cheap make you wait and I’m pretty sure they are scams there’s a reason the prices are cheap and those are probably not good reasons. Just book the consultation even if you decide no he’ll use the consult fee for a Botox treatment.”

Adam Schaffner, MD, FACS, is a triple board-certified, double fellowship-trained plastic and facial plastic surgeon based in Manhattan, New York. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Rush University and completed his internship in General Surgery at Stony Brook University Medical Center. Dr. Schaffner then completed residencies in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Stony Brook University Medical Center and Wayne State University, respectively.

My visit ran very smoothly. This surgery was something I had wanted for a long time but was unable to find the right surgeon and staff. I automatically felt comfortable when I met Dr. Schaffner the first time.
Usually I find myself to be anxious when going to a doctor even if it is just a follow up appointment. With Dr. Schaffner and his staff, this was not the case. I was eager to hear him tell me how far I have come and that I am on the right track to recovery. By following his instructions and guidelines, I am recovering quicker than I had imagined.

I was quickly greeted and told what the procedure would be and when I voiced concern, I was brushed off and told that it's simple. I was then rushed off to meet with a "consultant" who basically gave me an estimate. After leaving I felt defeated and deflated. They weren't rude, just not very attentive. I felt like a machine in a factory that they had to turn a knob on.

Very impressed by Dr Schaffner. We took our 12 yr old son for an exam following a trampoline accident and a significant cut to his forehead.
Dr Schaffner was terrific: Did a thorough exam, gave us some excellent advice on options and next steps and answered all our questions. He was clear, detail focused and efficient. Would highly recommend.

Dr. Schaffner is an excellent board certified plastic surgeon. I am a physician and I was very afraid about having a needed Plastics procedure. Dr. Schaffner quickly put me at ease. To explain to me everything I needed to know. I never felt rushed. He has a calm likeable quality to him. Only downside was that my appointment was scheduled early because of work. But it felt like it was scheduled too early - all the lights were off in the lobby and it felt like the front desk wasnt quite ready to receive patients which is why it took so long to get seen. That said everyone
