Dr. Adam Trujillo is a Family Medicine physician by training with specialty training in non-operative sports medicine. As a native of Las Vegas, he aims to improve the quality of care to the community. Dr. Trujillo provides comprehensive, evidence-based medical care with an emphasis on patient understanding and involvement in the treatment process.
Dr. Trujillo provides a variety of primary care services all from the convenience of our medical facility. He provides diagnostic tests including Annual Depression Screening, Neurobehavioral Status Exam, EKG, ABI, ECHO, Vascular Screening, Spirometry (breathing and pulmonary testing), and Lab Testing. He also performs Ear Lavage (ear cleaning), and Abscess Drainage.
In addition to primary care. Dr. Trujillo specializes in the treatment of acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries. In office evaluations and treatments include point of care diagnostic ultrasound, landmark and ultrasound guided joint injections, sports pre-participation physicals, concussion management, and exercise medicine. He uses movement evaluations, advanced imaging modalities, lifestyle modifications, physical therapy, and evidence-based pharmaceuticals as diagnostic and therapeutic tools to provide a comprehensive care plan.
Following his bachelor's degree from Santa Clara University, Dr. Trujillo obtained his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine. He also completed his internship and residency in family medicine at Valley Health System. He later pursued a fellowship in sports medicine at Riverside University Health System. Dr. Trujillo holds a certification in sports medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Trujillo is currently a team physician for the Henderson Silver Knights Hockey team and has been associated with a variety of athletic associations.
