“The staff was very kind, understanding, and direct . I did all my pre appointment forms online and was called literally 5min after checking in and it was even still 15 before my actual appointment time. The RN who saw me was kind and thorough. Even how she handled giving vaccines was great and I hate needles. Same with the nurse who drew my blood, she was intentional so I didn’t have to be pricked multiple times. I didn’t have to wait long for Dr. Atueyi and she was kind and patient with me throughout. I had other issues I wanted to discuss with her and she recommended coming in for a follow up so as to not affect my costs which is amazing consideration. I got labs done in the same appointment and the whole process/appointment took about 1hr 15min. I was honestly just going for a general exam but I think I want Dr. Atueyi to be my PCP, I haven't felt so seen by a doctor in a long time, and it’s especially reassuring that she’s a doctor that looks just like me!”

About Dr. Adaobi Atueyi
Adaobi Atueyi, MD, ABFM, is a board-certified Family Medicine physician who earned her medical degree at Oba Okunade Sijuade College of Medicine, Igbinedion University Okada in Nigeria in 2009. After completing her internship and practicing primary and infectious disease care for several years, she relocated to the U.S. and completed the Larkin Community Hospital Hialeah Florida Family Medicine Residency Program in 2025. Dr. Atueyi joined Kelsey-Seybold in September 2025.
For Dr. Atueyi, achieving her lifelong goal to become a physician allows her to help and serve people in the best way possible. As a primary care provider, she offers preventive care and sick care to patients of all ages. In addition to annual physicals and screenings, Dr. Atueyi has a particular interest in helping patients with women's and men's health concerns, hormonal regulation, annual skin exams and biopsies to prevent skin cancer, and acute and chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and rheumatologic and other endocrine conditions. In her practice, she doesn’t just treat patients; she educates and encourages them to participate in decision making for their care. She also loves that practicing medicine allows her to build lasting relationships within the community she serves.
Known as an honest yet compassionate and encouraging physician, Dr. Atueyi works daily to advocate for her patients, helping them get the best care possible as she lives out her Christian faith in her work. She believes in providing holistic, patient-centered, evidence-based care that addresses not only physical symptoms but also emotional, spiritual, and relational needs, meeting each patient where they are and offering hope, healing, and encouragement in every interaction, especially in times of suffering.
In her free time, Dr. Atueyi loves to travel to experience different cultures and cuisines, and she enjoys baking and creating new recipes with her daughter.
