She didn’t show her face on the video call. She was 17mins late to our appointment. It was our first meeting and her camera was muted. So I’m not sure who I was giving my information to. She was not a good listener. She continuously cut me off during our conversation. When I got frustrated and began to be firm without using any foul or disrespectful language, she disconnected from the video call.

Got hung up on during the video call. I wasn't reached back out to. Seems indicating confusion about what potentially needed information from a different provider and how that would fit into with this provider resulted in the hang up? When I reconnected, I was somewhat irritably explained that they had similar policies & that the administrative staff could explain. I explained last provider's administrative staff had referred me to MD for clarity on their medicaid / credit card on file policy. Will connect with admin on this. I understand every office runs differently so I expected a better understanding with a new provider but it seems I'm still a bit lost and like it's not acceptable to ask questions yet expect cards on file without agreements for use. I've had my info be used before w/out prior permission causing financial problems so I'm cautious now. When I was concerned with dosage I was told they would set dosage and frequency and I didn't have to worry about it.

I have to say that this was probably the worse visit ever. The appointment was to have paperwork completed that I discussed with the office. The office even had me switch providers as the original provider was not able to complete the paperwork that was needed. I was very clear with the office about the paperwork that needed to be completed. The office scheduled me with this specific provider and even told me that there would be a charge to complete the paperwork. I was agreeable. On the day of the appointment, the provider said that she COULD NOT complete the paperwork. I was infuriated! What was the point. I therefore ended the visit. Worst visit ever! Worst provider and office. Would never recommend this office and provider based on all of this.

The experience with her was pleasant and short (not even 15 minutes). She asked if I had any questions a few times throughout our appointment which was nice. Wanted me to get additional testing but didn’t (?) said I would start medication the same day as appointment but hadn’t had prescriptions filled. Was told they’d be filled by EOD today and still nothing :/ I just wanted to feel normal for once and yeah..this was my first time using ZocDoc…hopefully my next experience isn’t like this. I don’t recommend this place solely because of the lack of attention to detail and timeliness. I’m sure she has a multitude of other patients to see, but if she’s saying she’d like for me to start treatment that day, wouldn’t it make sense to send the script to the pharmacy the same day? Idk..

I was seen immediately, she is very kind and friendly and very easy to talk to! I Highkey recommend adaora as a psychiatrist. In the past I’ve had difficulty being able to have a psychiatrist really listen to what I’m saying and come up with a plan that helps and she really listens and wants what’s best for the patient. I really respect that so if anyone is looking for a psychiatrist who really cares about their patients go to Adaora.

I don’t understand what was the point of me talking to this person every question she asked me was the questions that I answered in the questionnaire that was emailed to me. This person asked me questions. I didn’t understand the purpose of this set up. I thought I was meeting with my potential therapist and that was not the case. All she did was read questions And tell me that she was going to set up a potential appointment with a therapist. None of this was really explained to me. I didn’t understand why I had to meet with her as I stated she did and then it was over 11 minutes so I was totally confused and I didn’t understand and I didn’t feel any warmth or anything from this person.

Highly recommended! The appointments have been great. Adaora has done wonderful in listening and fulfilling my needs. I've had a great experience thus far and intend to go to her moving forward. The wait time is minimal, and I like that there is an automated text message for appointment confirmations with this clinic. I do however wish that the set-up for the clinic was better integrated with ZocDoc- but that has nothing to do with the provider herself.
