Dr. Adedayo Ekundayo, PhD, CCRN, CRNP is an excellent, empathetic, compassionate Maryland Board of Nursing certified adult gerontology nurse practitioner who provides quality, efficient, and cost-effective care and treatments for patients ages 18 – 100. She incorporates sound assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills with integrative medical approaches to treat the whole person. Always engaging, Dr. Ekundayo is an observant, attentive, and thoughtful primary care provider who is passionate about the well-being of her patients and committed to uniquely individualized care.

Biography
Dr. Ekundayo has over 40 years' experience in Nursing. She specialized in critical care nursing, practicing in numerous hospitals. In 2016, she became a Nurse Practitioner and began seeing patients privately to provide the care she believed her patients deserve. Treating patients from all backgrounds, including the least fortunate, in outpatient settings she also volunteers her time in local shelters. She earned her bachelor's degree in Nursing Science. From there, she graduated from the University of Maryland Graduate School of Nursing with a Master's Degree, and a Doctorate in Nursing. She trained as a Nurse Practitioner and graduated from Kaplan University School of Nursing in 2016.
Dr. Ekundayo has expertise in diagnosing and treating a range of ailments in a primary care capacity. She is also trained to recognize patients needing a higher level of care and refers to specialists appropriately. She is respectful of all persons and provides culturally competent care. Personally, she enjoys a good laugh and celebrating the wonder of God's creation.

I had some concerns about sending out my credit card information online before visiting Dr. Ekundayo's office. As a result, none of the records of my medical history was available to Dr. Ekundayo. She nevertheless saw me without having access to my medical history and I was impressed with the flexibility that she showed in handling this matter, given the need of most doctors to be able to review the patient's history before the first appointment. Instead, Dr. Ekundayo did a thorough exam of my vitals and we were able to address in a satisfactory manner my medical problem.

I absolutely loved her, but I couldn't get my maintenance antidepressant meds through her as a primary like I did with my last primary, and that was non-negotiable for me. Otherwise, she was very friendly, warm, and knowledgeable, and I would definitely recommend her to others.

Dr. Ekundayo is very kind and very sweet. I felt like I could sit and talk to her for hours and she would be opening to listening so that she could provide the best suggestion/advice. Her credentials definitely check out. I always felt like she knew exactly what she was talking about. My appointment was scheduled fast and the video visit was super convenient for my schedule. My provider was confident and helped my chief concern. Her suggested prescription was very effective too! I am extremely grateful and happy with the service and experience and would definitely recommend and reuse in the future.
The office staff over the phone was super considerate, helpful in providing guidance on the forms and friendly overall which made my experience of my provider even more awesome. Overall, 5 stars for sure.

Wow, I don't know why I put off seeing a doctor for so long but I'm so so relieved I went to Bethesda Clinics. The Doctor and her staff are kind and understanding and offer real solutions and holistic care to catch issues before they become chronic. I use Bethesda Clinics for all my physical health needs now, including dermatology and internal medicine, and it's useful being able to do that so there are no gaps in my care. The Doctor is a gem of a human being with an infectious smile, and she has a special stethoscope that can hear lung sounds! I'm actually excited to see her again, what a thought!
