I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with more than seven years of nursing experience in mental health. Much of my work has been in hospital and residential care, where I served as a charge nurse and cared for both adolescents and adults through challenging psychiatric conditions. I place a big emphasis on education and understanding. You’ll always know why we’re choosing a certain path and what to expect, and I’ll encourage you to take an active role in your care.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
In our first session, I’ll complete a thorough assessment to understand both your mental and physical health needs. My nursing background allows me to look at the full picture—not just symptoms, but also how daily life, stress, and physical health impact your mental wellbeing.
Together, we’ll create a treatment plan that may include therapy, medication management, or other supports. I’ll check in regularly on how you’re doing, adjust treatment if needed, and provide education along the way so you feel clear and confident about your progress.
My goal is always to build a trusting relationship where you feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow.
