Aderonke Obayomi MD, MPH, FAAD is a board certified Dermatologist who provides comprehensive medical, cosmetic and surgical care to patients of all ages and skin types.
Born and raised in Maryland, Dr. Obayomi completed her undergraduate studies in Biology at the University of Virginia. She subsequently attended Tulane University School of Medicine, earning her medical degree and a concurrent Master of Public Health with a specialization in Health Systems Management and Health Policy. There, she further cultivated her passion for patient-centric care that takes into account the broader context of health systems.
Dr. Obayomi completed an internship in Internal Medicine at The Howard University Hospital in Washington D.C., before heading to the University of Miami for her Dermatology residency. During her tenure in Miami, she benefited from the mentorship of world recognized Dermatologists, equipping her with a diverse array of skills in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
Being an active contributor to the advancement of her field, Dr. Obayomi has held numerous leadership roles and currently serves on various committees within the American Academy of Dermatology and the Skin of Color Society. She has a strong research interest in optimizing dermatologic care and has been published in multiple prestigious Dermatology journals and has presented at various Dermatology meetings around the United States and internationally.

Dr spent all of 2 minutes in the room with me then sent me on my way. Not empathetic didn't take any time to explain or diagnose. She just sent a cream over to the pharmacy. Will be going to another dermatologist for a second opinion.
Steer clear if you're looking for clarity and someone to actually take their time to treat you. Would not recommend.

My appointment was rushed. Literally 4mins!!!! Yet they will bill for 45 minutes. I opened my mouth to speak for a few seconds. She prescribed meds and that was all. No empathy. No listening ear. Nothing. Will be following up with a different provider. Actually chose her because she was a person of color. Smh. I already felt bad going into the appointment not knowing what was going on in my body. She provided little to know insight. I had to offer to show pictures etc for a more thorough assessment. She didn’t care. Will not be returning.

My visit with Dr. Obayomi was excellent, upon my arrival I was checked in right away. The office staff was professional and friendly, My wait time to see the doctor was less than 10 minutes.

Really really not empathetic- I was coming for hair loss and she told me I was balding and needed to immediately start minoxidil. (I am 24 and not balding). After this appointment I went to a specialist at Columbia who informed I am totally fine and it is just aging. This woman was harsh and uninformed on the information she was giving me. The blood draw also was really painful. I also had to wait for a long time to be seen. Do not go here

Dr. Obayomi was pretty awesome. She answered my questions and took the time to make sure I felt comfortable before every step in the care she provided. The wait time was under 10 min.
The front office and PAs do need to do a better job of collecting intake information and follow up. The PA that didn't seem that knowledgeable. If a medication could not be found in the database, she did not make an effort to enter it even after I provided her the info via the Capsule app. This could be very harmful to patient's health if those that are providing care don't know the patient's medical history and/or medications.

Dr. Obayomi was fantastic. She made me feel extra comfortable, as it was my first skin screening. She did this by explaining everything in a very straightforward manner.
I had a biopsy done that was as painless as possible and very quick. Dr. Obayomi told me exactly what she was concerned about, what could be the worst case, and what was most likely. I feel confident that she will take care of me with whatever my results reveal.
The office was clean and calming. Everyone I met was kind and engaging. It was also easy to call and get someone on the phone to help me. I definitely recommend Dr. Obayomi for any dermatology needs.
