“Dr Malaty is the best psychiatrist I’ve ever seen and I’ve been seeing phychiatrists for the last 15 years. I feel comfortable and listened to at every appointment and never dismissed. He makes me laugh at least one time per appointment which is such a relief when talking about such heavy things. I can’t recommend him enough and hope he never retires.”

The doctor did his job well but seemed tired, he rubbed his face a lot, had a flat affect.

Dr. Malaty is phenomenal and incredibly thoughtful and thorough!
booking was easy, telehealth appt was easy, Dr Malaty is awesome.

Psychiatrist appts. are not like other doctor appts. You’re paying for the time you spend talking to the psychiatrist in addition to medication management. No one greets you when you come in. I waited 20 minutes and the doctor did not emerge, so I left. Highly unprofessional. The office was a little on the creepy side and did not inspire confidence.
Up to date on tx for my diagnosis

Dr humiliated me for asking a question. He kept widening his eyes in shock when I answered his questions and refused to help me if I didn’t have the exact name of prescription

Dr. Malaty is an awesome Doctor! I have been battling depression, and trauma all my life. Dr. Malaty seen the positive things and the good things about myself that I could not see. He was able to find the right medications I needed to get my depression under control. I am not saying I am 100% healed, as it is not that easy I have 45 years of pain to work through and it is a process. He challenged me to stop smoking Cannabis. I was scared to take the no cannabis challenge, I had been smoking since I was 13 years old. One day I took the challenge and 12.13.2022 was the last time I smoked Cannabis. I am in an IOP Program that specializes in drug dependency to give me the skills I need to cope without using Cannabis. If you are ready to put in the work, take challenges, and get out of your comfort zone, Dr. Malaty is the Doctor to see. He is always smiling, he listens, we laugh during my sessions. I am so glad I found him and he is such a blessing! Don't sleep on Dr. Malaty

Very helpful and professional. I highly recommend
Very good doctor. Kind caring and manages my mental health well. I’m doing so much better since I started seeing him. He has also encouraged me to get the tools I need to help myself through rough days.
    Verified patient
Great doctor, and very professional. He will answer all of your questions, all you have to do is ask. I noticed that he will not ask me many questions during a medication refill meeting but he is always open to stopping and explaining anything of your interest.

A year and 1/2 later I am much happier and enjoying better impulse control and coping skills. He’s really change my life for the better.

Dr Malaty seemed out of touch for the times & instead of taking the time to get to understand my problems and history in order to diagnose my neurodivergence and potential deficiency disorder, he took the easy way out and hand waved his way out of my problems, blaming it on my history of legal and medically approved self medication, which I started due to my symptoms, and advised me to “Google any adhd test” and get back to him. All this within 15 minutes. Absolutely horrible experience and wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy. I’d advise finding a different psychiatrist that won’t hold you to ultimatums with no actual regard to your mental health.

Dr. Malaty was supportive, empathetic, and very clear. He incorporated my priorities and concerns into his advice and prescription, and he made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the appointment.
It was good. My first virtual appointment so figuring out the app waiting room was at first was little tricky but I’ve got it now. Dr Malaty made me feel really comfortable and I look forward to working with him.
