“She has really made a wonderful impression. I’ve been through a lot of psychiatrists and she’s blown every single one of them out of the water. I specifically tried to get an insurance in network with her and didn’t want to see anyone else. The insurance didn’t work out and I still decided to self pay because I genuinely couldn’t think about trying to find another psychiatrist. She’s amazing.”

Getting to know Dr. Adrienne Adler-Neal

DISCLAIMER: Unfortunately, I CANNOT prescribe controlled medications/substances in Texas. However, I CAN still see patients there, offer alternative treatment plans, and prescribe NON-CONTROLLED medications. I completed my residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Prior to that, I completed the combined MD/PhD program at Wake Forest School of Medicine where my doctoral work focused on examining the biological and neural mechanisms underlying mindfulness-based pain relief. I obtained my undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and my Master of Public Health from the University of Memphis.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Disclaimer: Not Prescribing Controlled Substance/Stimulants in Texas My clinical focus is on helping individuals achieve optimum mental health through combining traditional medication management, psychotherapy, and holistic modalities, such as supplements, herbal therapies, and mind/body interventions. I approach each of my patients as a unique individual, pulling from multiple treatment modalities to meet the needs of the patient in front of me. My focus is on creating a space of trust and acceptance to facilitate healing.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I will complete a full initial assessment, during which I will gain an understanding of your current goals for treatment, mental health concerns, and physical symptoms, as well as your mental and physical health history. I will work with you during the initial and follow-up visits to devise a treatment plan aimed at meeting your goals. I will work with you in subsequent visits to optimize your treatment plan and ensure your goals are being met.
