Adrienne is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who earned her Master's in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Maryville University. She is dedicated to collaborative, evidence-based, and integrative care for adults, adolescents, and children. Adrienne considers all aspects of her clients' lives and approaches care with compassion, using a biopsychosocial-spiritual framework. In addition to prescribing mental health medications when appropriate, she incorporates brief psychotherapy and evaluates potential nutritional deficiencies and lifestyle factors to create comprehensive treatment plans. Before returning to graduate school, Adrienne provided patient-centered, skilled care as a registered mental health nurse at the Eating Recovery Center acute inpatient unit. Her experience as both a floor and charge nurse, combined with her role as a PMHNP, gives her a unique perspective on caring for individuals struggling with eating disorders and co-occurring concerns. Alongside her expertise in eating disorders, Adrienne is experienced in treating trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I firmly believe everyone has the capacity for healing. I see medication as an adjunct to therapy and not as a sole intervention. Because there are so many factors that affect our emotional and mental wellbeing, I believe in taking an integrative and collaborative approach to your mental and physical health. Consideration of factors such as sleep, potential nutrient deficiencies, lifestyle and stress, genetics, and of course mood, are critical when developing and a comprehensive treatment plan. I truly believe this type of collaborative and comprehensive plan will allow you to thrive.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I start with a 60-90 minute consultation. That way I can learn about your history, concerns, and goals. Together, we will collaborate and make a plan to get started. We will schedule a follow-up appointment.

Ongoing session: $155-310 for 60 minutes

We are a private pay clinic. Payment is due at the time of service. Generally, an initial medication evaluation is 310 for a 45-60 intake session.
