Getting to know Dr. Agnieszka Mlodnicka
Hello! I am a Clinical Neuropsychologist who provides comprehensive, individualized psychological and neuropsychological assessments to offer diagnosis and recommendations for children through young adults. My assessments include evaluations for psychological disorders such as depression and anxiety, as well as neurodevelopmental disorders like Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Learning Disorders, and Developmental Delays. I assess children, adolescents, and young adults. Additionally, I provide Organizational Skills Training for older children and adolescents.
I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from the City University of New York, Graduate Center. My training includes externships in Neuropsychology at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York University Elaine A. and Kenneth G. Langone Medical Center, and Queens College, part of the City University of New York system.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My mission is to provide excellent care and valuable information that you are best equipped to make medical, academic and occupational decisions. I strive to provide a nonjudgmental and collaborative environment to meet these goals.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
The process begins with a 90 to 120 minute initial intake, which involves a detailed developmental history and current concerns. The testing appointment is scheduled for either a half day of 3 to 4 hours of testing or a full day 6 to 8 hours of testing. The final appointment is an hour feedback appointment which involves a review of the testing, diagnostic results, recommendations and opportunity ask questions.
