About Aidan Russo
Aidan Russo is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland, College Park in biological sciences and earned his Master’s in Physician Assistant studies from the Pace University – Lenox Hill Hospital PA program. He is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Aidan is currently undergoing extensive training with several of The Dermatology Specialists’ talented providers while also completing the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants Diplomate Fellowship program. He is dedicated to providing high quality, individualized medical care. Aidan is most passionate about giving comprehensive patient education and keeping up to date with the latest advancements in the field of dermatology. He strives to provide both effective treatment and a comfortable, collaborative visit for his patients at each appointment.

Dr. Russo is the best doctor-patient relation anyone could experience. He's down-to-earth, friendly, funny and comfortable to talk to. Definitely takes his time with you, communicate's well and addresses all issue's you are there for and whatever his expertise is not in he try's to recommend others who are. I'm not usually one to leave reviews but I Highly recommend him. And this recommendation is not made up, I actually was referred to Dr. Russo a year ago through a Family member.

I absolutely loved the provider Aidan Russo he was professional and didn't pressure me into getting what he recommended I get. He did a procedure and was calm didn't rush and was very gentle. He explained everything I needed to do once home and even gave emergency instructions which I did appreciate! I would definitely recommend him. I give him 10 stars! His assistant was awesome too.

The front desk person didn’t take my info right away for my 9:10 appt (got there when they opened at 9, she told me to take a seat “til they opened”?). Because of that, I handed my paperwork in around 9:09 bc it wasn’t given to me for another 5 or 6 min, and they took a woman who had a 9:30 appt (she said this loudly when she checked in AFTER me) ahead of me, so I wasn’t seen til 9:30. That part was annoying, but after seeing Aiden the experience was much better bc he’s a great empathetic provider! Great experience, just don’t expect the front desk person to get you processed in time as a new patient if you have an early appt and this might result in a delay.

The nurse sent my prescription to some pharmaceutical app called Capsule instead of the Duane Reade I requested and whose info she took down. I called them the next day to ask them to fix it after I started getting texts from Capsule. They told me they'd take care of it and call me when it was done--they didn't. The next day I called again and they told me that they had already gotten paid by Capsule but they'd cancel it and send the prescription to Duane Reade instead. I get to Duane Reade and am told that they can't fulfill the prescription because it *hadn't* yet been cancelled with Capsule. I get on the phone with the office while I'm there and the woman who answered my call told me she didn't know how to fix this issue. The Duane Reade kindly was able to resolve it for me, and told me that these dermatologists are partnered with Capsule and send them clients whether they like it or not. Sleazy. I'm going to cancel my follow up appointment and go to a more legit practice.
