Psychologist
53 W Jackson Blvd, Ste 709, Chicago, IL
I enjoy supporting couples seeking to clarify shared goals, address conflicts, and increase their sense of appreciation for one another. Couples seeking guidance around navigating non-traditional partnerships, discussing finances, family planning, building and maintaining intimacy, and improving communication among a myriad of other topics generally find my approach helpful. While I freely use the term "couple," anyone in a partnership they wish to nurture is invited to seek services. I also enjoy working with individuals managing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and various life transitions. I hold a PsyD in Clinical Psychology and a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Adler University, as well as a Bachelor's degree from DePaul University.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We begin by gathering pertinent history and conducting an assessment. This assessment occurs over approximately three weeks ; each individual member of the partnership has a one on one session with me. Results are shared in aggregate. I point out apparent strengths, potential areas of concern and observations of your dynamics as a couple thus far. We will then collectively agree on a general roadmap and corresponding interventions to improve the partnership. At which point our sessions focus on exploring, understanding and reaching those goals.
