I am a board- certified psychiatric Mental health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized, and evidence - based mental health care . I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood d/o, insomnia, stress and other emotional or behavioral health concerns.
My approach begins with listening. I believe Patients deserve a safe, respectful and non judgemental space wherethey feel heard and understand.
What should a new client know about working with you?
You can expect a warm, respectful space where you feel heard and comfortable sharing your concerns. My approach is collaborative and practical. we’ll work together to understand what you’re experiencing and develop a treatment plan that reflects your needs, preferences, and goals.
During our first visit, we’ll discuss your symptoms, health history, daily life, and what you hope to gain from care. I combine psychiatric assessment and medication management, when appropriate, with supportive psychotherapy and strategies informed by cognitive behavioral and solution-focused approaches. I’ll explain your options, welcome your questions, and help you build coping skills you can use between visits. At follow-ups, we’ll review your progress and adjust the plan together.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Our first visit is a conversation about what brought you to care, your symptoms, medical and mental health history, and how you’re feeling and functioning day to day. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I use this information and screening tools when helpful to understand your concerns, discuss diagnostic impressions, and develop a treatment plan with you.
Follow-up sessions focus on your progress, current challenges, sleep, mood, and daily functioning. If you take medication, we’ll review its benefits and any side effects. I also provide supportive talk therapy and practical coping strategies to help you manage stress and navigate challenges. You’ll have time to ask questions, and we’ll agree on next steps together.
Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Initial session: $250 for 60 minutes
Ongoing session: $150 for 45 minutes
- Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront
