What should a new client know about working with you?

I'm a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a passion for patient-centered care. I combine clinical expertise with empathy to help individuals achieve optimal health and wellness. With a holistic approach and strong focus on education and prevention, I strive to build trust and lasting partnerships with every patient I serve.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, my typical process begins with a comprehensive evaluation during the first session, where I gather information about your mental health history, current symptoms, medical background, lifestyle, and family history. This helps me develop a clear understanding of your needs and formulate an accurate diagnosis. Based on that, we’ll collaboratively create a personalized treatment plan, which may include medication management, psychotherapy, or both. In ongoing sessions, we’ll monitor your progress, adjust treatment as needed, and explore strategies to help you better manage symptoms and improve overall well-being. I do incorporate elements of talk therapy, such as cognitive behavioral techniques, to support emotional regulation and coping skills in addition to medication management. Sessions are always collaborative, supportive, and tailored to meet your unique goals.
