About Dr. Alan Cornfield

Dr. Cornfield, owner of SMART Medical, believes that ?Life is Motion.? His personal mission is to help his patients feel good and enjoy life. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the New York College of Health Professions and New York Chiropractic College. An avid Terps fan, he rarely misses a basketball game and is also a huge New York Rangers fan. Keeping himself in motion, he works out daily at his gym, Evolve Academy, practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and on Sundays, he dabbles in playing basketball. Beyond his business, he is actively involved in his kids' lives and is very much adored by his friends and community.

The physician exhibited an excessive amount of humor and sarcasm during the consultation. The conversation appeared to deviate from the primary reason for my visit, resulting in a lack of focus on my concerns. I felt slightly uneasy about his parting comment, in which he suggested that I inform him if the ice alleviates my back pain; otherwise, we may need to explore alternative solutions at his house.
