About Albalira Gibson-Borrelli
Alba Gibson-Borrelli, MS, APRN, FNP-BC, is a Family Nurse Practitioner board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Prior to her current role, Ms. Borrelli worked in the Bronx treating multicultural patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, thyroid problems, and other chronic illnesses. She successfully helped patients manage and overcome their illnesses through education and effective treatments.
Ms. Borrelli began her career in healthcare over 30 years ago as a registered nurse working in acute care settings. While working as a registered nurse, she advanced her skills to work in adult critical care and emergency care settings. She then pursued her interest in nursing, earning her Master's in Family Nursing with honors from Pace University in New York.
Ms. Borrelli has been an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Nurses Association and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She was inducted into the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International, in 2015. She also holds current and past certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Adult Critical Care Certification (CCRN).
Ms. Borrelli is the founder and owner of Horizons Wellness Family Health NP PLLC, where she offers a holistic approach to healthcare emphasizing wellness, self-care, and mental health promotion. Her goal is to provide access to high-quality healthcare in a nourishing, trusting environment that supports holistic and comprehensive care. Her core values are integrity, caring, and diversity.

I can’t say enough about Dr. B and her staff, I literally laughed my whole visit, in my 36 years I never experienced such a through and professional exam! I can’t stop talking about my visit! For the moment I walked into the office I felt this immediate welcoming lovely atmosphere. Paris the receptionist just had a bright smile and was super sweet. The other ladies were also very nice. The doctor was also very sweet and took her time explaining everything. She was very informative and broke down everything and made sure I had no questions. I go back in 2 weeks to see my lab results and I have no doubt that she will have a whole plan to help me.

I have been to so many providers that continue to dismiss my concerns and spend about 10 min speaking at me, not to me. I can’t say enough about the great experience in office. Real eye contact, making me safe and comfortable was her main concern. I left my appointment feeling seen, heard and validated. I left with hope of a healthier future

After a few weeks of preparation, I started ketamine treatment today. This is done under N.P. Borelli's strict supervision. I've been so "stuck" for so long. I can't believe how liberating this first treatment has been. I felt safe, secure and I have hope for my future!
