I, Albert Quainoo, am a compassionate and dedicated board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with experience providing comprehensive care to individuals with acute and chronic mental health needs across the lifespan. I understand how stress, burnout, and overwhelming emotions can prevent you from living your best life, and I am genuinely committed to supporting and improving the quality of your mental health regardless of the challenges. My priority is prompt treatment, care, and feedback. Although this process can be challenging, I engage with my patients holistically to build a therapeutic alliance that helps them achieve their mental health goals.
Throughout my career as a nurse and now as a mental health nurse practitioner, I have gained valuable experience in evaluating and managing a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, bipolar disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, psychotic disorders, substance use disorders, personality disorders, and trauma-related disorders. I hold a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree specializing in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Walden University. I have obtained board certification as a PMHNP-BC, demonstrating advanced proficiency in assessing, diagnosing, and treating psychiatric disorders.
