About Dr. Albert Shalomov
Dr. Albert Shalomov is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology/hepatology. He completed his residency in internal medicine at New York Hospital Queens, Weill Cornell College of Medicine, in 2007. He was chosen to be chief medical resident in 2008. He completed his training in gastroenterology/hepatology in 2011 at the same institution. He is actively engaged in private practice and his clinical interests include all aspects of diseases of stomach, liver, gallbladder, pancreas and colon. He also has special skills in nonsurgical treatment of hemorrhoids. He has authored and co-authored multiple articles in major clinical journals. He is a recipient of distinguished awards for medical research from American College of Gastroenterology and New York Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He is fluent in Russian and is on staff at New York Hospital Queens.
