“I had a really positive experience w/ Dr.Folkes during my visit for hair loss/alopecia concerns. She was attentive, patient &genuinely listened to everything I had been going through. Hair loss can be stressful & emotional, but she made me feel comfortable/reassured throughout the entire appt. What stood out most was how thorough she was in explaining what might be happening w/my hair, including the diff. possible causes &how they relate to my symptoms. She didn’t rush the appointment at all &took the time to answer all of my questions in a way that was clear/easy to understand. I really appreciated how she broke things down w/out making it overwhelming. Dr.Folkes also helped me feel more hopeful about my situation by going over realistic tx options &what I can expect moving forward. It felt like she truly cared about helping me, not just treating a condition but supporting me through it. I left the appt. feeling informed, supported, &much less anxious. I would absolutely recommend her”

I searched the internet to find a dermatologist and chose Dr. Alicia Folkes. She was compassionate, kind, and understanding, especially in allowing me the time to fully explain my concerns. This was my first experience seeing Dr. Folkes and I can't say enough good things. She has a great bedside manner, she listens to everything that you have to say before she asks any clarifying questions, and she takes her time thoroughly evaluating everything before making recommendations. Very pleased and will definitly try to see her again the next time I need to see a dermatologist.
Besides that, the office staff is also professional, efficient and friendly.
