About Alex Casebolt
Alex is a certified physician assistant with 27 years of experience primarily in primary and urgent care, occupational medicine, and regenerative medicine. He is an Idaho native, graduating from Caldwell High once upon a time. After a brief period in young adulthood of ill bent youth, Alex got serious about college and attended ISU for pre-med studies. He was accepted into the Des Moines University PA program and graduated with a BSH, PA Certificate. Alex initially worked in a rural family practice clinic in Iowa before moving back home to care for a terminally ill parent. He picked up his practice in the valley at Micron Health Clinic. Since then, he has worked for St. Alphonsus and St. Luke’s in occupational medicine to provide work injury care, but has always prioritized keeping a part time gig in urgent or primary care. He is newly remarried with two adult children and grandchildren. Alex loves woodworking, household projects, and fishing (even though, through self proclamation, he “sucks” at fishing). His “zen” is helping people. That is why he entered medicine. Alex loves the human body and how it works, and he really enjoys being able to help people when they are ill or need healthcare advice.

I was very impressed with my experience at Dr. Casebolt’s office. The online scheduling was easy, and I was seen within 10 minutes of my appointment time. The staff was welcoming and efficient, and the waiting area was clean and comfortable. Dr. Casebolt was very thorough and explained things clearly, making sure I understood everything.

I booked this appointment under the impression he was a Psychiatrist, as per the website. Wasn't until I was checked in and met the provider that I was informed he was not, therefore it was a waste of both of our times (along with a copay)! That was the reason I went as I have been going through some mental health issues etc, not to establish Primary care. All in all, he was very pleasant but unfortunately not what I thought the appointment was for and wish I knew that beforehand.

I felt so comfortable and not judged. He was very nice and professional and actually seemed to care and listen. I’m going to continue using him as my provider which really says something because with the level of anxiety I get; I have a hard time feeling comfortable with just anybody.
