Patient reviews for Dr. Alex Foxman
I really feel like I was conned at the office. I went in, met with the doctor, he checked me out, had me give blood and a few days later his office sends me a letter stating that I have 90 days to join his network if I wanted to keep seeing him. This would not be covered by insurance and was a ridiculous amount. I asked the office why I wasn't made aware of this when I made the appointment, checked in, met with the doctor, had blood drawn and checked out. His office told me that they send the agreement letter after the first visit. So now I have to do this all over again with another doctor. This is infuriating. I feel like it was a bait and switch tactic.
Very informative and truly easy to talk to.
Have been going to him for a while. A wonderful, warm, professional and knowledgeable physician. I recommend him to all my friends.
He is absolutely amazing and obviously cares.
Ideal doctor for young men (ages 20 something through early 30s). Easy to talk to and very knowledgable. I felt a little rushed through the whole procedure but all my needs were met so no complaints here.
This doctor was extremely helpful, and his bedside manner was far better than other doctors I've seen. After falling ill recently, I did not even hesitate to book an appointment with Dr. Foxman again.
he's pretty wonderful
Awesome all around
I appreciated his straightforward attitude. Dr. Foxman listened to my concerns and offered me advice and helpful assistance. The office was clean and the staff was great. Dr. Foxman also gave me referrals for additional needs that I have. I will go back and make him my primary care physician.
Dr foxman was great , very professional and warm, listened to me and prescribed appropriate measures.
Dr Foxman was quick but efficient. He didn't chit-chat much and seemed very busy. Regardless, he was nice and I didn't feel that my checkup suffered as a result of it. Will continue to go back.
Very personable and relatable.
I was very comfortable, Dr. Foxman was very professional and asked all the right questions so I knew we were on the same page! Thank you Dr. Foxman & Staff! Highly Recommend ! Thank you, Theresa Marqua
Very personable and made me feel comfortable which I appreciate because doctors offices can be very formal and cold.
Dr Alex and his entire staff are phenomenal I never wait long before I am seen and his visits run smoothly. He answers all questions and helps with any the minor concerns. Nothing is too small for Dr Alex.
Everything about my visit to see Dr. Foxman was exceptional. I wish I had found him a long time ago. From the first moment I felt I was in good hands. Thank you Dr Foxman!
Dr Foxman was great and knowledgeable, helped me figure out everything I needed for my trip to Nigeria. Would see him again!
Very qualified and capable. He tried to upsell tests for cancer screening, as did his nurse, so I felt a little taken back by that, but otherwise he was professional, smart, inquisitive about my history (this was my first visit) and very knowledgeable.I will see Dr. Foxman again.
Professional, modern, clean, efficient office in the heart of BH. Solid.
always a great experience. I was seen immediately and he took care of my concern for that appointment
My visit was great! I was scene immediately and the front desk as well as nurse were very warm and welcoming! Alex was very informative and great with answering questions/ concerns I had
He was easy to talk to and very thorough in studying my patient history.
Excellent. Thorough and efficient
I felt awkward around him, and beacuse I am younger, 19, he talked down to me and I just felt very uncomfortable. He got to the root of my problem, but when I was given sample medication to try, I was only given one sample, as in one pill. Not sure how that was going to help my issue, but he is the one with a medical degree. I am going back for my follow up, but I'm not sure if I will return after that.
Real cool young dr.
I had a great experience! I was welcomed warmly when I arrived by the receptionist, saw immediately and felt heard by Dr. Foxman. He was very professional and interested in my wellbeing. I think I have found the "One"!
I went to Dr. Foxman for a long overdue physical and I have to say this was the nicest experience at a doctors office I have ever had. The office is conveniently located and has a very nice relaxing atmosphere to it. The staff were all super friendly and Dr. Foxman is very thorough and friendly as well. I am happy to have found this practice!
Dr. Foxman's office is very nice and well kept. The receptionists and nurses were warm, professional and responsive. My time with Dr. Foxman felt a bit rushed, but I am impressed with the almost all electronic nature of his practice. He took my med history on his computer and submitted Rx's electronically as well. I was in and out in about 60 minutes for annual physical. I have two complaints though. First, Dr. Foxman has instituted a $250 annual fee to be his patient. I have very good insurance and I'm in pretty good health, so I don't think I should have to pay an additional $250/year for the pleasure of seeing him. He did not disclose this fee until the end of our visit and frankly I wish he had. Now I have to look for a different internist because I can't afford an additional $250/year just to be his patient. My second complaint is that he sort of pushes his weight loss program. I am not a follower of the BMI because according to the BMI I am "obese." I am a very athletic person and exercise a lot, so I am heavier in pounds than I look. Dr. Foxman really wanted me to buy his weight loss program and didn't even consider my overall situation. It's for these two reasons that I would not recommend him to others. It's sad really, b/c he has good bedside manner and seems to care about his patients.
He's a good guy. Very straight forward. Seems passionate about his work. He is pricey, but then again it's a Beverly Hills practice, so you have to expect that.
Dr. Alex Foxman is great. Very welcoming.
