About Alex Mathews
Alexandra Mathews, PA-C, can see patients aged 12 and older.
She is a graduate of Farmingdale State College, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/BioScience (Summa Cum Laude). Alexandra completed her Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Hofstra University in 2014.
Alexandra joined Dr. Mark Jagust's family medicine practice in 2015. She enjoys family medicine because it allows her to build long-standing relationships with her patients and follow their health over the years. Her areas of focus include hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disease, and coronary artery disease.
Alexandra and her husband, Rob, live on Long Island with their two children, Lea and Eliana. She enjoys spending time with her family and their dog, Cooper, and is an avid Billy Joel fan.

My Experience today was wonderful - thoroughly taken care of - Alexandra Mathews and staff were courteous, friendly, experienced and caring. I was a new patient and nervous but when I left I felt 100% better. I recommend Alexandra.
