Alexa Prodromakis, PsyD provides diagnostic assessment. psychotherapy, and social skills group services at Coast Psychology. Dr. Prodromakis is trained as a cognitive behavioral therapist, and works with an evidence-based, accepting, and collaborative approach. She has expertise in supporting neurodivergent children, adolescents and emerging adults, as well as individuals who have experienced trauma. Dr. Prodromakis received her Psy.D. in School-Community Psychology from Hofstra University. She has worked in a variety of settings, including public schools, Hofstra University’s Diagnostic and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders, and college counseling centers. She enjoys supporting individuals with neurodevelopment disabilities find meaning in their diagnoses, strengthen their interpersonal relationships and support systems, and navigate times of transition.
