What should a new client know about working with you?

I describe my approach to therapy as being like a "co-pilot." I am not going to tell you what to do or what your destination is. I will be there to help offer feedback, brainstorm, and problem solve the route that you want to take to your goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Typically, my first sessions are used to gather information about your experiences, areas you wish to grow in, and strengths you possess. In the next visit, we will work to create a treatment plan, which will outline your goals for therapy and ways that we can work together to support you in reaching them. I use a mixture of ACT, CBT, and narrative techniques to assist clients in processing struggles they've faced and move in a direction that is aligned with their beliefs and the person they authentically are.
